Regulatory Analyst l or ll
Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District (HBMWD) is seeking a qualified professional to join our high energy Eureka office as a Regulatory Analyst – I or II.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational foundation which includes a background in the public sector and water industry. This essential position prepares all permit applications, regulatory reports, and safety documentation along with analytical studies regarding water supply, infrastructure financing, and other technical matters.
Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as competency in developing spreadsheets, databases, and other analytical tools. The ability to meet tight timelines, work under pressure and multi-task is must! We are willing to train a highly motivated, self-starter, that knows how to collaborate with a diverse team.
Position offers growth opportunities with a salary range from $73,876 to $114,589 which includes a competitive benefits package. Qualifying professional engineering experience under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer is available.
HBMWD provides drinking water to the majority of Humboldt County. Facilities include a dam which forms Ruth Reservoir in southern Trinity County, hydro-electric plant at the dam, water diversion and treatment facilities adjacent to the Mad River, and pipelines to the municipal customers around Humboldt Bay.
