I have been involved with HBMWD since 2009, when I served on the Water Resources Planning Committee, and am honored to be appointed to the Director position for Division 5. I hold degrees in Marine Biology and Social Sciences, and have spent over 15 years working in California’s coastal watersheds. I have worked as the Environmental Programs Director of the Blue Lake Rancheria for over ten years, and was a founding board member of the Mad River Alliance, a non-profit community watershed group. In my role as HBMWD Director, I look forward to serving the community with watershed health and economic sustainability in mind. When I’m not working, you might find me hiking, biking, or kayaking with my family in this beautiful part of the world we call home.
